Encryption of Files and Folders
n-Crypt Pro provides easy and user-friendly way for ultimate data protection via encryption of files and folders, creation of Encrypted Virtual Drives and encryption of files for secure file exchange.
Encryption process starts with random key generation according to FIPS 140-2 Level 1 compliant RNG that will be used with approved cryptographic algorithms (like AES, Blowfish, 3DES). The length of this key depends on algorithm. Thus, e.g. AES uses 256 bit key. The data passes the block cipher according to the procedures of the selected algorithm. The initial key is encrypted by public key of the RSA-2048 key pair, which was generated during device initialization. Then the encrypted key is appended to the encrypted data.

Encrypted Virtual Disks (EVD)*
n-Crypt Virtual Disk is the most easy-to-use encryption software available today and eliminates the most serious problem of any encryption software - passwords! Using n-Crypt, the user is not required to remember ANY passwords, PINs or whatsoever.The EVD content is encrypted by strong encryption algorithms
EVD is created within Virtual Container . Virtual Container can be implemented as a file or as a hard-drive partition, removable storage devices, etc.
n-Crypt Virtual Disk securely and easily protects all confidential data either on notebooks or desktop computers. This user-friendly system effectively protects business plans, client lists, product specifications, confidential corporate memos, stock information, or any other classified information with a simple touch of a finger.

Encryption On-The_Fly
The feature of "My Encrypted Files" is a tool which simplifies the whole issue of Encryption and Decryption. It allows the user to use his regular PC activities of Drag-n-Drop on regular files, and simply to encrypt and decrypt them on the fly without to be required to use any Password or to install any software. Once the option "My Encrypted Files" is enabled, each time you plug in the device, the folder “My Encrypted files” with two subfolders “Device” and “Local Machine” appears on your desktop. 

Each file dropped to these folders will be automatically encrypted and moved to corresponding folder, each file dragged from it to another location will be automatically decrypted and moved to the desired destination. Please note that if you want to COPY the file out of "My Encrypted Files" folders hold "Ctrl" key while dragging the encrypted file.
