Hard Disc Encryption - Encrypted Virtual Discs

As we become more and more mobile, our sensitive data becomes more exposed to loss or theft. Especially the laptop users that carry most of their sensitive data together with them have to be aware that in case that their laptop is stolen/lost, their data can be retrieved within seconds.

Especially to give an answer to this weakest link, n-Trance offers the possibility to create encrypted virtual drives (EVD).

The n-Crypt Virtual Disk is the easiest-to-use encryption software available today and eliminates the most serious problem of any encryption software - passwords! Using the EVD n-Crypt, the user is not required to remember ANY passwords, PINs and other credentials. The only task is to swipe the finger. The EVD content is encrypted by strong encryption algorithms and being created within Virtual Containers . The virtual Container can be implemented as a file or as a hard-drive partition, removable storage devices, etc.
The n-Crypt Virtual Disk securely and easily protects all confidential data either on notebooks or desktop computers. This user-friendly system effectively protects business plans, client lists, product specifications, confidential corporate memos, stock information, or any other classified information with a simple touch of a finger. The new created virtual drives (as many as the A,B,C, free letters on the host PC) can be used like any other regular partition (up to 4GB per each EVD) with their own uniqueness – they will appear only when the n-Tgerity will be connected to the PC and after a positive fingerprint recognition of the user, and will disappear when the n-Tegrity will be removed out of the PC.
The EVD is an ideal tool for the growing trend of flexible working places within the corporate.
