 | The error can be caused by some problems of Removable Media file system. Sometimes viruses can cause file system destruction, which can be fixed with the help of your antivirus. We recommend scanning your removable disk for viruses once in a while, especially before you are going to perform Backup of your device
In other cases file system can be corrupted for unknown reason, which is rather common problem of removable disks.
We recommend performing check disk operation before you are going to backup your device.
Close all applications that are running from your device or may use your removable disk. You can alternatively disconnect device and then reconnect it again, when you are prompted for authentication, swipe your finger while holding the Left Shift key. Continue holding the key for few seconds. This will prevent starting all autorun applications.
Run chkdsk X: /f command from the Command prompt, where X is the drive letter of your removable disk. |
